Artistic Mission
As a watercolor specialist, my art and teaching have produced principal themes of “Life on the Good Side”, including “Rainpeople”, “Street Scenes”, “Animals”, “Flowers”, “Landscapes”, and “Seascapes”, reflecting life and happy times with a wide range of techniques. Aspirations include a desire to lecture and teach in my field of art.

Credentials
Graduate of Richland, HS of Johnstown, PA; Bachelor of Science of Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, 1970. Teaching certification with tenure from Penn State University, 1974. Taught 18 years as the principal art instructor in the West Bloomfield Community Education system. Guest watercolor instructor at Chautauqua Institute of Arts in New York. Advanced artistic study with Muriel Fullmer, Rockwell plate artist for Hallmark; Paul Denis, Cleveland Institute of Art; Diane Boldman, Baycrafters Studio of Cleveland; Fred Leach, Head Designer at American Greetings; William Kufell, Master Portrait Artist. Workshops with Nita Engles and Tom Lynch, Celebrity Watercolor Artists. Taught in Society of Decorative Painter conventions all over the United States and Canada.
